Actor and Labour Party spokesperson Kenneth Okonkwo has denounced rumors that the e Labour Party would be charging the sum of 25 million Naira as nomination fees for Governorship aspirants.
He announced this on his Twitter page:
“the general public should be rest assured that Labour Party will not go the way of the old order. The party’s constitution frowns at any action that will constitute a hinderance to the participation of any Nigerian in governance at any level.”
The actor promised that the Labour Party will find an acceptable fee for the nomination. The Actor encapsulated that thought saying “We prefer honest and competent leadership to moneybags. We moovee!!!”
