Twitter Changes Logo to Doge meme – Elon Musk

The popular microblogging site Twitter has recently changed its classic blue bird logo to the “doge” meme. Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk, confirmed this change, shared a conversation and responded: “As promised”. Musk took over the social media giant in a $44 billion deal last year.

The blue bird logo of Twitter has been replaced by the Shiba Inu dog meme, which is also the logo of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency. It is important to note that this change is only visible on the web version of Twitter and not on the Twitter app.

Musk also tweeted a meme of a police officer checking a document while Doge says it’s an old photo ().

In addition, he shared a screenshot of a conversation he had with a Twitter user before he took over the company, where the user suggested that Musk should buy Twitter and replace the blue bird logo with a Doge.

After Twitter changed its home page logo to the dog meme, the value of Dogecoin went up by almost 30%. Since taking over the social media giant, Musk has implemented numerous changes, including the recent announcement that Twitter will discontinue its old verified program on April 1, requiring users to pay $8 per month for the coveted blue checkmarks.

Twitter has also removed the verified checkmark from the New York Times’ Twitter page after the company refused to pay for the verified check. Musk commented on the issue, stating that “They voluntarily did exactly what I wanted them to do” in response to a user’s comment that random users are now verified on Twitter while the New York Times is not.
