Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez has said his team will now prioritise succeeding the La Liga after they were tossed out of the Copa del Rey by Real Madrid.
Madrid slammed their rivals 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final to advance with a 4-1 aggregate.
The cup exit comes after early this season’s eliminations from the Champions League and Europa League.
But Barca has triumphed over the Super Cup already and have one hand on the first La Liga title since 2019.
“We have to keep competing. It will be a very good season if we win La Liga and the Super Cup; this result should not tarnish that.
