Chelsea striker Kai Havertz has disclosed that his teammates call him Donkey.
He said this was after they realised his unique connection with the animal.
According to @chelse Add’ official Twitter page, where it was stated that:
“Some of my teammates call me ‘Donkey’. It’s not because of my football; from day one, I felt a special relationship with donkeys,” he said.
The German striker clarified that he is fond of the character of donkeys, which is identical to how he lives his daily life:
He further explained that donkeys are calm animals and do not worry so much, so he personifies himself in them.
