Manchester City’s Erling Haaland reached a new milestone in his record-breaking first season in Manchester with five goals against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League round of 16-second leg.
Haaland scored all three of Manchester City’s goals in the first half, netting his 17th career hat-trick against RB Leipzig.
The big Norwegian opened the scoring for Manchester City after a contentious penalty, and then he doubled the lead 19 minutes after the restart with a well-guided header after Kevin de Bruyne hit the post.
He then concluded his hat-trick with a poacher’s goal, finding the back of the net for the 31st time in the UCL at only 22 years old.
Not wanting to stop at good, Haaland went for great scoring two more goals for Manchester City to reach his 33rd goal in 25 UCL games so far before being taken off in the 63rd minute.
With his haul of five goals, Haaland broke one incredible UCL record and equalled another.
