The Bayern Munich attacking midfielder, Musiala has injured his left thigh and will now stay back in Munich instead of joining up with his international teammates.
German team head coach Hansi Flick has resolved not to name a substitute for Musiala and will cling to the players available.

“We all hoped that Jamal would be fit because he has unique qualities,” Flick said.
“That’s why it’s a shame that he’s not there for everyone.
“We wish him a full recovery as soon as possible and be able to play again after the internationals.”
Musiala was brought in as a substitute at half-time for Bayern in Sunday’s 2-1 Bundesliga defeats to Bayer Leverkusen.
