Kylian Mbappe has surpassed Karim Benzema on France’s top scorer’s list
France’s captain Kylian Mbappe began his reign as leader of the national team with an incredible brace in the 4-0 win over the Netherlands in the UEFA European Championship qualifier, and in the process reached a new career milestone.
Mbappe scored France’s third and fourth goals against the Netherlands in a record-breaking win and also creates a new record with the national team in the process.
Mbappe’s two goals saw him score the 37th and 38th goals of his international career, which took him past ex teammate Karim Benzema to become France’s fifth-highest goal scorer of all time.
