Manchester City midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, is now a father. The City Captain has taken to social media to disclose the arrival of his first child Kais, after his wife Sara successfully put to bed on Wednesday.
Sara shared the news on her social media page on Wednesday evening, hours after they welcomed their baby boy into the world.
She shared pictures of herself and her husband holding Kais alongside an adorable close up shot of the baby’s arm and ear.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “Our love is here. Kais Gündoğan 15.03.23”.
The post was met with warm wishes from friends and Gundogan’s Man City teammates.
Jack Grealish wrote: ‘Congrats 👏🏻❤️’ before Phil Foden also wrote: ‘Congratulations 💙’.
Dani Ter Stegen, who is the wife of Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen, wrote:
