Liverpool Vs Arsenal – Match Preview

Although Liverpool has a brilliant home record in this round of the competition, we must not disregard Arsenal’s huge form edge going into the match.

Liverpool are having a poor season, but they still have a a great record at Anfield this year, with nine wins, three ties, and just one loss in 13 league games.

Following four straight-away games across all competitions, Jurgen Klopp’s team’s supporters will welcome them home. In these four games, Liverpool has only being able to score once while losing three and drawing one.

The Reds seemed absolutely powerless in the final third against fellow strugglers Chelsea in midweek, so Klopp decided to leave his key players on the bench. This decision was made on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The problem with Arsenal, who continued their title defence by thrashing Leeds 4-1 last Saturday, is completely different.

Arsenal lead the Premier League standings by eight points, but second-place Manchester City have a game in hand. As a result, a loss at Anfield would severely hamper the team’s quest for victory.
