Tottenham star Harry Kane has demanded that the club should be battling for awards and not battling for the top four in the Premier League.
The England captain was discouraged as his side was bundled out of the Champions League by AC Milan on Wednesday.
Spurs managed only a 0-0 draw at home in the second leg after losing the first leg at the San Siro 1-0.
When asked if the top four Was a success post-game, Kane told reporters: “No, I do not think so.
“Where we are at as a club, we should be winning trophies, and that is always the aim.
“The top four [being our only target] is a consequence of not playing as well as we want.
“Now that’s all we can fight for, so that is going to be the goal, and hopefully, we can achieve that come to the end of the season. But for sure, it’s not enough for this club.”
