Injured Osimhen ruled out of Napoli, AC Milan clash

Serie A, Napoli will play without Victor Osimhen for Sunday’s league clash against AC Milan.

Osimhen nurtured an injury while on an international assignment with Nigeria this week and has skipped training since returning to Naples.

Napoli disclosed the statement on Italian football Tv official Twitter page, that the forward groaned of an abductor strain upon his arrival, which was verified after he underwent tests.

The 24-year-old will  miss the game at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium and will be further evaluated next week to determine the extent of the Injury.

Napoli will hope the Agile forward avoids a severe injury with their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clashes against AC Milan few weeks away.

Osimhen has scored 25 goals and delivered four assists in 28 outings across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
