The internet has been abuzz with Abouk’s divorce from her husband Hakimi. The buzz was ignited when the world learned that Hakimi held most of his assets in his mother’s name. The Spanish actress had filed for divorce from her Moroccan footballer husband. Hakimi, plays for PSG in France and is one of the best paid footballers in France.
It is still unclear whether this means that Abouk cannot share from her ex-husband’s assets. However, the news polarized the internet between those who hail Hakimi for his “wisdom” in shielding his assets from his “gold digger” wife; and those who questions why a married man will hide his assets with his mother.
On Monday, the actress posted on her Instagram Stories a message that appears to reveal her state of mind about the whole affair.
“Remember, you can’t control everything in life, but you can control how you react to it. Let go of the need for perfection, embrace the beauty of the present moment. And trust that the universe has your back,” she wrote.
Hakimi, who is 24, currently faces a rape accusation. However, he continues to appear for his club. He has two children with Hiba Abouk, who is 36 years old.
