Nigerian Police Authority has warned aggrieved persons against any confrontation during the Presidential Inauguration at Eagles Square. Addressing Journalists, Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, urged the aggrieved persons to follow due process and the rule of law. He warned that law enforcement agencies would not hesitate to subdue any confrontation or act of insecurity.
According to Muyiwa, there will be fireworks shows at about 12.01 hours on Monday, May 29th 2023, at the City Gate, Abuja. Nigerians are on this advised not to panic due to the Fireworks show. The Inspector General of Police, therefore, urges all citizens to adhere to all the rules and regulations as regards the regulation. He also reminds good citizens of Nigerians to report any suspicious activity of persons to the Police or other relevant security agencies.
