Following the declaration of the supreme court, reinstating him as the authentic governor of Osun state, Adeleke in an appreciation post, attributes his victory to God.
Adeleke was declared winner of the July 16th governorship election However, the opposition party candidate, Oyetola alleged irregularities in the votes and challenged Adeleke’s victory in a tribunal.

The court on Tuesday, May 9, ruled out the appeal by Senator Oyetola and Adeleke was confirmed to be the governor of Osun state.
The governor, has taken to his twitter page to thank God for granting him victory over petitions by Oyetola. He also appreciated the people of the state for their support in the course of regaining the stolen mandate.
We dedicate today’s victory to God. Our Governorship is an affirmation that a government of the people, by the people and for the people is possible. I express my heartfelt appreciation to great people of Osun state. On behalf of my family and party, I say thank you” He tweeted.
It’s been a moment of celebration since the court ruled out the judgement, in favour of the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke.
