The Senate has just approved the request of President Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 Special Advisers. This followed after the President’s letter to the Senate requesting approval. Senate President Ahmed Lawal read the letter during the preliminary session. This also follows the President’s announcement and appointment of the outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives as the Chief of Staff.
He also announced George Akume as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, among other appointments.
