Progressive Governors meet with President Bola Tinubu at the council chambers in the state house. NewsedUP Reporter gathered that the Governors were led by Hope Uzodinma, the Imo state Governor. Uzodinma was recently elected as the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum. President was delighted to meet with them. Those in attendance include Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and other APC Governors. However, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of (Ondo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ogun) and Dr Nasir Idris (Kebbi) were not in attendance.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, Permanent Secretary of the State House Tijani Umar, and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, were also in attendance.
President Bola Tinubu, who was delighted to meet with the Progressive Governors, tweeted via his Twitter handle:
Today, I had the delight of welcoming distinguished Governors from our great party, the APC, to the State House. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment and united efforts in realizing our cherished vision for Nigeria. With every hand on deck, We are resolute in our pursuit of a prosperous nation.
