President Tinubu Special Advisers’ First Appointment

President Tinubu Special Advisers’ First Appointment into National Economic Council after the Senate approved 20 Special Advisers. Earlier this month, The Senate approved the request from Mr President to appoint 20 Special Advisers on June 6, 2023.

Abiodun Oladunjoye, the State House Director of Information, confirmed this in a statement where he said as follows, the President Tinubu Special Advisers:

  1. Dele Alake as Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy
  2. Yau Darazo as Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs
  3. Nuhu Ribadu as Special Adviser on Security
  4. Wale Edu as Special Adviser on Monetary Policies
  5. Olu Verheijen as Special Adviser on Energy
  6. Zacchaeus Adedeji as Special Adviser on Revenue
  7. John Uwajumogu as Special Adviser on Industry, Trade and Investment, and
  8. Salma Anas as Special Adviser on Health.

There are speculations that the office of the National Security Adviser may cease to exist, considering the appointment of a Special Adviser on Security.
