Obidient Movement is Dead – Fani-Kayode

Leader of the Obidient” movement and Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi has recently been under fire for an alleged phone call with religious undertones, which has led many to label him a bigot despite having come out to deny the audio.

To make matters worse, Lai Mohammed accused Obi of treason a few days ago, but Obi has also denied it.

Yesterday, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka denounced the infamous Channels speech by Datti Baba-Ahmed, The Labour Party Vice-Presidential candidate, as being Fascist and anti-democratic.

All this and more has led Festus Keyamo, an APC spokesperson and Minister for Labour and Employment to declare the “Obidient movement” dead. In a tweet, he thanked Wole Soyinka and Lai Mohammed for speaking out against Mr. Obi and “vindicating” his position.

He said “The Obidient movement is spiritually and mortally wounded and politically dead. Thanks be to the Living God. We need to waste no more time on them. From now on they will scream and shout like a headless chicken in the throes of death.”

Mr. Kayode’s tweet had a celebratory tone at what he views as the demise of the movement. He ended it with, “RIP Obidiots: history will judge you harshly.”
