Former Senator Shehu Sani has declared his support for the elected Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke. He tweeted in response to @ChannelsTv’s tweet on the “Supreme Court judgment to be delivered today on the Osun State election Petition.”
According to Sani, “Whatever is the outcome of the judgement, I’m with Adeleke. He won the election.”
Supreme Court will decide on Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state Governor and his predecessor, Gboyega Oyetola. Both have been in the legal tussling after last year’s governorship election.

INEC declared Adeleke of PDP as the winner of the governorship election with 403,371 votes against the APC counterpart, an incumbent governor who scored 375,027.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the poll, saying he polled 403,371 votes to sack Oyetola, who was the then incumbent with 375,027. According to Sani’s tweet, he believes Adeleke won the election.
