Lamidi Apapa, a factional Labour Party (LP) Chairman, claimed he is more OBIdient than others. Apapa, during the Morning Show program on Arise TV, stated that he’s fully behind Peter Obi’s mandate.
Apapa also claimed that where he voted and the votes he got confirms his wish for Peter Obi to rule Nigeria. As an older Nigerian, his life will be better if Obi becomes the President.
Responding to the question on his experience yesterday at the venue of the Presidential Tribunal, Apapa said his actions yesterday are not a mockery of the Labour Party. He was there to claim his authority because he is the authority of the party. Rather, “what they did to me as instructed by Peter Obi is a mockery instead”, Lamidi Apapa claimed.

Rufai, one of the Presenters of the program asked a question on the allegation that he [Apapa] has been bribed by the opposition party, here is his response:
“I did not collect a Kobo from the opposition party and I challenge them to come forward with evidence. I have never written a letter to any of the Tribunals in Nigeria. Those letters did not come from me, it is blackmail – Acting Chairman Of The Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa.”
