Lai Mohammed is a Liar: Kenneth Okonkwo

Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Spokesperson for the Presidency had accused the Labour Party Presidential candidate,  Peter Obi of the treasonous act of inciting insurrection while in Washington D.C.

The Minister had asked why the Presidential aspirant who had petitioned the court to invalidate the declaration of the APC’s Bola Tinubu as President-Elect would still engage in words and actions that would incite Nigerian citizens to violence.

Actor-turned-politician, Kenneth Okonkwo however had a few words for the Minister concerning his reprimand. The actor called Mr. Mohammed a liar saying “Please, someone should help educate me on the correct spelling of Lai’s name because someone besides me as I was writing spelled it as Liar, and I was maintaining that I was right. Please, who is right between us?”

Mr. Okonkwo says he expected the minister’s trip to America would be to engage their help in ensuring that “a drug baron” is not sworn into office as the Minister works for a man (President Buhari) who pushed and enforced the death penalty against drug traffickers when he was head of state.

The spokesman accused the minister of going to America to lie against Mr. Obi, “a man who has called for calm after his election mandate was stolen from him but instead chose to go to court, when has going to court become a treasonable felony?” asks Okonkwo.
