The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, refused to respond to the question about the leadership crisis of his party. While speaking to journalists, as captured by AIT’s Twitter handle, Peter Obi’s response was that the embattled chairman Mr Julius Abure remains his own man. The case is still in court.
Peter Obi was speaking to the journalists about his level of commitment to see a better Nigeria. He has sent signals to all party members and followers to remain calm. It is the same enemies fighting us that are fighting the party. The fight won’t be easy to remove those who have confused our country for years. They are not going to leave laughing.
