Governor-Elect of Enugu state, Peter Mbah, has assured the state’s people that his campaign promises were not mere words. In an interview granted on Arise TV, he showed how he would achieve his lofty goals.
“We will ensure we achieve our campaign promises. We will attract investors by creating an enabling environment and providing infrastructure. We will explore our mineral resources and migrate the agricultural sector to agro-allied industry,” said the governor-elect.
He said to meet his campaign promises, he would have to grow the rural economy and explore the state’s resources to increase state revenue. He promised that his government would provide the policy and the fiscal environment to attract private-sector investments.
Overall, the governor-elect promises to hit the ground running to revitalise the state’s economy.
