In the presidential election held in Eti-Osa local government of Lagos State, Peter Obi of the Labour Party emerged as the winner with a total of 42,388 votes. On the other hand, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 15,317 votes. The results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
However, there were some issues with the number of votes declared invalid, and the INEC officer was asked to sort it out. The other candidates in the election, NNPP and PDP, received 381 and 3,369 votes, respectively.
