Underestimating Obidients is at Your peril, Nwakobia

The Labour Party seems to be under siege from within and without. Starting from the presidency accusing its Principals of treason, to Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka referring to its vice-presidential candidate as a fascist and leading up to the displacement of Julius Abure as National Chairman. One could wonder what next could befall the party.

Chris Nwakobia said in an interview on Arise TV that “This is all a move from a party who is afraid despite supposedly having won the election, a party that holds a mandate that is not truly theirs.” He said the APC won the election but can’t celebrate because they know they lack legitimacy.

He accused the APC of fueling the turmoil within the Labour Party saying “They are doing it to the PDP, and they are doing it to the Labour Party. It’s because we are in court, challenging their mandate.”

Mr. Nwakobia said the opposition hoped to destabilize and party and weaken its resolve but had obviously underestimated the determination of the Labour Party and the Obidients.
