Tinubu to Buhari: “As You Work hard for me, I will work hard for Nigeria.”

Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has promised to work hard for Nigeria if he is elected President in the 2023 elections. Tinubu made this promise during a rally held at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos State, which served as the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign.

Addressing President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu said, “Mr. President, I have so much to say, but I have kept you for too long, and it is not today. “I assure you: as you work hard for me, “I will work hard for Nigeria. As you give Nigerians the hope to renew their faith in their country, “I will sustain that hope.”

Tinubu also promised to pursue diligently, vigorously, and with all energy all the agenda set in the party’s programme – the Renewed Hope manifesto. He appreciated Buhari for setting the country on the path to achieving greatness and creating the conditions for the party’s transparent presidential primary in which he emerged as the candidate.

Tinubu also highlighted the importance of Buhari’s leadership and vision, which he believes will drive the growth and independence of the country. In particular, Tinubu praised the President’s “courage” and “confidence,” which he says have set Nigeria on the path to the future.

“As you work hard for me, I will work hard for Nigeria,” Tinubu tells Buhari at the rally.

In his address to supporters, Tinubu thanked them for their support and charged them to exercise their franchise. He assured them of a celebration in his Bourdillon home but warned them there would be no celebration if he is not elected. Finally, Tinubu pleaded with the people to cast their votes and take their younger ones along, regardless of their financial situation.
