The Labour Party gubernatorial aspirant for Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has refuted accusations made by the PDP candidate, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran.
He said, “Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran’s statement about me are lies spoken out of desperation. I have no godfather but mentors and leaders. We should keep this campaign issue-based because Lagos deserves better.”
Gbadebo said:
“It’s ironic that the person accusing me of being a product of godfatherism was someone who was insisted on by all the leadership of PDP, like the national chairman and even Obasanjo.”
“It’s very rich that when tables have turned, he begins to talk about godfatherism. That’s just pulling straws and avoiding the real issues” he said.
