Yunusa Tanko has reassured the public that Peter Obi will not be intimidated by threats made against him. Tanko, the Labour Party presidential campaign council spokesperson, also stated that the party’s popularity has increased due to the schemes implemented to demarket them.
In an interview on Arise TV, Tanko confirmed that threats made against Obi and other party members do not deter them. He affirmed that the Labour Party is focused on Nigeria and will legally challenge any case of illegality.
Tanko also noted that the use of religious and tribal sentiments by some individuals is a serious threat to society. He stated that the Labour Party is only challenging the system legally and pursuing the issue of a convicted drug abuser who is contesting the election.
