The Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate for lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), called a world press conference to address irregularities in the just concluded elections.
He began by thanking the party members and supporters for their efforts. He expressed his empathy at the pain and emotional distress many had endured while trying to cast their votes in the past governorship elections. In the same vein, the governor aspirant launched a platform called GRVcares2023.com. He implored Lagosians to log on to the website if they had been victims of the violence during the governorship elections.
GRV said, “For the ambition of one man, so many people were hurt”. He called the APC a diabolic cult of evil men. He said, “they want to turn lagos into a one-party state using violence and thuggery.”
Gbadebo also called on the people of Lagos to speak out against the actions of the APC, saying that, in this instance, “silence is not golden.”
He asked that the people of lagos and the people of Nigeria not give up hope.
