Investigative Journalist, David Hundeyin was catapulted to prominence by expository articles he published. Mr. Hundeyin has won many prestigious awards for his work calling out the ills in our society.
The intrepid reporter today commented on Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka’s comments concerning Labour Party Vice-Presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed. Mr. Soyinka had referred to Datti’s words in the now infamous Channels interview as “Fascist” He said Datti had no right to try to dictate what course the Supreme Court would take.
Mr. Hundeyin mocked the Nobel Laureate saying he had finally morphed into the former minister of culture and tourism, Femi Fani-Kayode. He called Mr. Soyinka an 88year old frat boy who tarnished his legacy. He said “Legacy completely in tatters and all for what? Personal loyalties at the expense of basic rationality and common sense.”
He accused the Professor of being out of touch, a result of “isolating oneself for decades and associating only with people who pander to your ego and cult of personality.”
