Sanwo-Olu assures residents of Badagry: “We won’t take your needs for granted.

During a recent visit to Badagry to express his gratitude for their support during the February 25th presidential election, Mr Tayo Ayinde, the Director-General of Tinubu/Sanwo-Olu Independent Campaign Council and Chief of Staff to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, promised that the area would not be neglected during the governor’s second term bid.

Ayinde thanked the Badagry electorate, traditional rulers, religious bodies, youths, students, various groups, for voting APC on the national election.

He urged Badagry voters to redouble their efforts in the upcoming elections to guarantee a resounding victory for Sanwo-Olu and the area’s two State House of Assembly candidates.

He appreciated the support Tinubu and other candidates received from Badagry Federal Constituency during the elections. Also promise to reward them accordingly. The DG also appealed to Badagry voters to take the campaign to their respective neighbours so that Sanwo-Olu’s votes would double what they had on February 25th.

Mr Ibrahim Layode, the Chairman of Badagry Independent Campaign Group, praised Sanwo-Olu’s inclusive policies among all divisions of Lagos. He assured Ayinde and his entourage that the party would sweep all positions in the upcoming election. Layode, a lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency 1 in the State House of Assembly, expressed confidence that all APC candidates would emerge victorious on March 11th.

As a representative of Badagry traditional chiefs, Chief Abiodun Patinvo, Baale of Iyafin, called on the Lagos State Government to consider uplifting Baales in the area. He also assured Ayinde that the party would sweep all positions in the upcoming election.

Traditional rulers, religious bodies, trade associations, and top political dignitaries attended the event.

Ayinde expressed his gratitude to the residents of Badagry for their support and dedication to the APC. He emphasised that the residents’ votes would not be taken for granted. The results showed that a lot more needed to be done in Badagry to improve the lives of residents and their children.
