MASSOB (Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra) has called on Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu. This plea was made at the 56th anniversary held on Tuesday, May 30, to celebrate the past leaders of the movement. General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (the former President of the Republic of Biafra) declared the day.
In a statement on Tuesday, the leader of MASSOB reflected on the brutalization and killings of soldiers of Biafra in the quest for freedom of the Biafran people.
“The more the freedom fighters are politically incarcerated, the more they are hardened, and the more the followers become uncontrollable.
“MASSOB demands the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, from President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria.
