The Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, described the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate Peter Obi’s ambition as “Dead on Arrival”. He made this statement at the grand finale of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rally held in Yola, Adamawa state.
Tambuwal, the Director General of the Atiku/Okowa campaign organization, gave commendations to all the party leaders and members for their efforts since the campaign started. Eighteen (18) contestants indicated interest, and the leading candidate is Atiku.
NewsedUP Report observed that Tambuwal also said Atiku/Okowa are the candidates that are ready to serve Nigerians, compared to candidates with limited experiences compared to Atiku & Okowa. He said that when Peter Obi was the governor of Anambra state, he did not conduct one local government election, and how could he attempt to be president?
Aminu Waziri Tambuwal criticized the LP’s presidential candidate saying his “presidential ambition is dead on arrival”. He said that as a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, he knows the difference, and only Atiku/Okowa can move the country forward. He declared that the ticket reflects pan Nigerian ideals, and that Nigerians will not vote for the All Progressive Congress (APC) again.
