Peoples Democratic Party Governor in Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has expressed confidence and gratitude on Arise TV following the results of the governorship elections.
He said, “Winning Delta with a margin of 120,000 votes is a clear attestation that the PDP is in control. Despite pockets of violence and recorded deaths, the elections have been free and fair and reflect the people’s will.”
After winning twenty-one out of the twenty-five local government areas, it stands to reason the governor would be exuberant. He thanked his supporters and party members for their valiant efforts to retain PDP in government.
