Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Adamu Garba has in a tweet scoffed at the petitions submitted by the lawyers of the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi.
He said, “Peter Obi’s strategy is apt. He knows he has nothing against INEC or the President-Elect. So he decided to dig into the archive for an expired case just to keep his gullible audience entertained.”
This has of course been met with mixed reactions with tweeps like @columbusGideon saying “Now, you are beginning to come to terms. So, your principal actually had a drug case? Wow, impressive Malla Adamu. Thanks for admitting it as a witness”
And another that goes by @Mhiz_diva saying “I pity them” ()
Both sides of the divide are very emotionally charged.
