Nigerians dodged a bullet on February 25 – Keyamo

Senior Advocate of Nigeria and  Minister of State, Labour & Employment, Festus Keyamo (), has mocked the Labour Party for not living up to their ideas for Nigerians. The minister has alleged that the labour party, which postures as a socialist party, has placed a hefty price tag on the nomination fee for gubernatorial aspirants.

He said:

“I understand that the Labour Party’s Governorship forms for Imo State cost N25 million, the same as that of the PDP in the last election. It didn’t take long before the pretensions of the so-called ‘new breeds’ began unravelling. Nigerians dodged a bullet on February 25.”

Keyamo believes the Labour Party are pretentious posers and only pays lip service to their ideals.

Kenneth Okonkwo has since come out to debunk this claim saying that the Labour Party would not charge such an exorbitant fee for aspirants but something reasonable not to hinder the participation of ordinary citizens.
