The Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, took to Twitter in a series of tweets to mourn the deaths of those who lost their lives while trying o exercise their god-given right as Nigerians and vote.
The former governor tweeted, “My sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. May God Almighty grant them eternal rest and grant their families the fortitude to bear their sad irreplaceable loss.”
All over the nation, reports have poured in on electoral violence, missing electoral materials, voter intimidation and collusion of security agencies with different parties. Many have called this the worst election ever held.
In a final tweet, Peter obi said, “I pray earnestly that God Almighty will save and help Nigeria out of this precarious situation.”
