Former lawmaker and spokesperson to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Dino Melaye, has taken to Twitter to highlight the differences between Atiku and his political counterparts, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
According to Melaye, Atiku is a unifier, unlike his counterparts. Melaye claimed that Atiku’s legal team for the presidential election petition tribunal reflected this unifying nature, as it was composed of representatives from all six geopolitical zones.
In contrast, Melaye alleged that Obi and Tinubu selected their legal teams based on ethnicity. He claimed that Tinubu’s legal team comprised 80% Oduduwa, while Obi’s team was 100% Biafran. Melaye asserted that this reflected the “hearts” of the candidates.
