Actor and Labour Party spokesperson Kenneth Okonkwo has denounced rumours that the Labour Party would charge 25 million Naira as nomination fees for Governorship aspirants.
He announced this on his Twitter page:
“the Labour Party assures the general public that they will not go the way of the old order. The party’s constitution frowns at any action that will constitute a hindrance to the participation of any Nigerian in governance at any level.”
The Actor promised that the Labour Party would find an acceptable nomination fee. The Actor said, “We prefer honest and competent leadership to moneybags. We moovee!!!”
