Yesterday, Senior Advocate of the Law and APC spokesperson Festus Keyamo jeered at the Labour Party regarding a rumour that the Party had set gubernatorial nomination fee at a steep 25 million.
He said the Party was not living up to its ideals, and the nation dodged a bullet by voting APC into power.
This may or may not have triggered a response from Labour party spokesperson Kenneth Okonkwo, who took to Twitter to dispel that rumour. He said that the Party wanted more participation from the ordinary person so they would not be charging such a price.
The leadership of the Labour Party have concluded that 15 million is a fair price for the governorship nomination fee. Kenneth Okonkwo announced this on his Twitter page().
