Garba Urges Igbos to Act Responsibly and Reasonably in Lagos

APC chieftain, Adamu Garba, has advised Igbos in Lagos State to be responsible and reasonable. He urged the Igbos not to assume ownership of the place where they are doing business.

In a tweet, Garba accused the Igbos of playing the ethnic card in Lagos State. He added that they should not provoke things that may affect their peaceful coexistence with their hosts.

He also advised them to live in harmony and peace with their hosts and eschew all forms of acrimony. He stated that most of the Igbos are being deceived by those living abroad.

He tweeted “You can’t go to a place to make a living and assume it has become your land against your host. You are still a visitor.”

Garba’s advice came after some Igbo groups accused the APC-led government of marginalizing them in Lagos.
