Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has issued a stern warning to those seeking to annul the election of Bola Tinubu as President-elect.
This follows a series of petitions filed by candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively, requesting a fresh election due to irregularities in the February 25 election.
In a tweet via his page, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain claimed that the opposition was planning to disrupt peace despite attempts to maintain it. He warned that those attempting to intimidate the courts and destabilize the nation would regret it, and their brains would be “annulled” if they annul Tinubu’s election.
However, Fani-Kayode later deleted the tweet for unknown reasons, but only after Nigerian Twitter users could take a screenshot of it.
