He said the technological advancement of the BVAS had improved the transparency of the elections by leaps and bounds compared to previous elections held in Nigeria. He pointed out the win of the Labour party candidate in lagos as proof of the transparency of the BVAS.

Mr Okechukwu said democracy was an ever-evolving thing. He suggested that, over time, we would perfect the process of handling elections. Meanwhile, he encourages we acknowledge how much this technological advancement has smoothened our electoral process.

He said, “We should appreciate it. Yes, there were flaws, but using a black brush to paint the whole thing is not good. I will not be part of it.”
