Bayo onanuga, Director of Media and Publicity Tinubu/Shettima Campaign and spokesperson for the APC, took to Twitter() earlier to express what some have described as a controversial, tribalistic sentiment.
In the tweet, he says, “Lagos is like Anambra, Imo, any Nigerian state. It is not No Man’s Land”. He urged Igbos to take note of this particular election as a clear sign to desist from interfering in Lagos politics as it is not their home, a view many disagree with, seeing that many of them were born in Lagos.
In the recent tribally charged political climate, many wonders if those are the words a spokesperson of a party that seeks to retain power should use.
