Actor, Lawyer and Spokesperson for the Labour Party, Kenneth Okonkwo has called out the returning officer in the just concluded Enugu governorship elections for cowardice.
In a thread of tweets, the actor extolled the virtues of the Abia state returning officer, Mrs, Nnenna Oti, Vice-chancellor of the university of technology Minna for her stalwartness in the face of pressure and alleged bribery. He complimented her for standing for what was true.
In contrast to his words for Maduebibisi Iwe, the returning officer for Enugu was less savoury. He called him a coward for submitting to pressure.
He assures Labour Party supporters that the state candidate would head to court to reclaim his mandate.
He said “Congratulations to the Obidients for winning Enugu State. INEC is already known as a rotten organisation worldwide with a rotten head. Their declaration is as useless as the organisation under Mahmood. In God we trust.
