Tottenham Hotspur winger Heung-min Son says that his club’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg match against AC Milan on Wednesday, March 8 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be a tough meeting.
AC Milan won the first leg 1-0 via Brahim Diaz strike on February 14 at the San Siro Stadium.
Speaking during the pre-match Press Conference on Tuesday, Son said that both teams have a similar playing style.
“They’re playing similar to us,” Son said in a video of his pre-match remarks posted on Tottenham Hotspur Youtube Channel.
“In the Champions League, all the teams are powerful. Individual contests, it will be a really difficult game. It’s crucial.”
Son has netted twice in seven Champions League games for Spurs so far this season.
He has a total of nine goals and three assists in 34 appearances across all contests for Spurs this term.
Tottenham are presently fourth in the Premier League standings with a total of 45 points after 26 matches.
