Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Femi Fani-Kayode, has urged Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to accept the defeat to President-elect Bola Tinubu. Fani-Kayode’s comment comes in response to Obi’s statement that he would challenge the process leading to Tinubu’s presidential election victory.
During an interview on Arise Television, Obi stated that he was not challenging who was declared the winner but rather the process through which Tinubu was declared the winner. He added that the rascality witnessed in the election could not be ignored.
Fani-Kayode, in a tweet, advised Obi to concede defeat, withdraw the case, and reign in his supporters. He wrote: “Surrender loading! Poor confused soul, no longer making sense. My counsel? Be a MAN, withdraw the case, concede you LOST, reign in your supporters and congratulate our President-elect.”
