Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Akin Osuntokun, has in a recent interview granted to Arise TV, said that only one side is playing the ethnic game. He accused the APC of manufacturing tribal division merely to score votes.
Osuntokun said, “This is precipitated by the fact of the reality that issued from the presidential elections conducted two weeks ago, which indicated that the Labour Party is ahead of APC IN Lagos. Not just by the INEC figures but also by the real figures with substantial margins.”
He said that even the choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC had always been a ploy to weaponize Islam to win the election.
All these Osuntokun decried as the actions of desperate politicians.
