Alake accuses NADECO Imposter of working against Tinubu

Dele Alake, media adviser to APC presidential campaign council, has accused Lloyd Ukwu, a US-based Nigerian who claims to be an executive director of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), of attempt to undermine the victory of Bola Tinubu.

In a statement to reporters on Thursday, Alake claimed that Ukwu is an impostor with a sinister agenda in favour of Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate.

Alake emphasized that Ukwu attempts to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians in the diaspora and the international community by exploiting the NADECO platform for Peter Obi against Tinubu.

He dismissed Ukwu’s claims as laughable and an insult to Nigerians who witnessed the struggle for democracy and the prominent roles played by pro-democracy activists, including Tinubu, in restoring democratic rule to Nigeria.

Alake further reiterated that Ukwu was not a prominent member of the pro-democracy group and reminded him and his paymasters that while Tinubu risked his life and resources during the struggle for democracy, Peter Obi was either collaborating with the military or was absent.

According to Alake, Lloyd Ukwu is an agent of the Labour Party and Peter Obi, who most Nigerians rejected at the February 25 polls. He stressed that most Nigerians have made it clear that Tinubu is their choice to lead Nigeria from May 29, 2023, and that Ukwu and his cohorts cannot change this fact of history.
