Tragedy: A terrible 3-way train crash has left over 281 people dead and about 900 injured in Balasore, Odisha, India. The devastating accident occurred in the late hours of Friday, June 2. It killed over 281 people, injured some victims, some trapped, and others dead.

Two trains were involved in the collision, one a passenger train and the other a passenger train, forcefully collided into another, leading to the death of some passengers and some injured.

Photos from the accident scene show the smashed compartment with open blood-stained holes near Balasore, in the Eastern state of Odisha.

According to a survivor of the tragedy, he heard a shaky sound before the accident finally happened. He said: “Everything was shaking, and we could feel the bogey toppling.”

This Friday’s crash is said to be the worst India has ever witnessed since 1995, when two express trains collided in Firozabad, near Agra, killing more than 300 people.

A team of professional Doctors and Military personnel gathered at the accident scene. Also, rescue workers are making attempts to get some trapped survivors in the wreckage.
